Working with HOAs on Poison Free Alternatives

There are approximately 160 Homeowners Associations in Ventura County.

Many use poisons to control rodents, and many back up to open space areas where wildlife live.

This HOA Packet is designed to help you start a conversation with your Homeowners Association about the effects of rodenticides on children, pets and wildlife. Our goal is to provide education, guidance and tools so that you can educate your HOA about the dangers of rodent poisons and work with them to find effective rodent control that is poison free. Together we know that we can find common ground to control rodents and do it safely without poisons.

Below you will find a number of downloads, including the "Working with HOAs on Poison Free Alternatives" pdf. This document will give you the steps to follow as you prepare to discuss this important issue with your HOA . We have also included additional brochures and  flyers to print and hand out. We encourage you to read this information thoroughly before approaching your HOA as it provides necessary tools for effective communications with them.
